The ProExcellence AVAA program celebrated its 79th anniversary, this Friday, May 28, through an online meeting. This event allowed connecting with the different allies of the organization for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The scholars Andrea Aponte and Rubén Herrera collaborated as presenters in this emotional meeting, which was broadcast on Zoom and YouTube platforms. The welcome was made by AVAA Executive Director Amelvi Barrera and the opening remarks by Gustavo Roosen President of AVAA.
In addition, Manuel Homes, executive director of AVAA Zulia; Isaac Pérez, executive director of AVAA Carabobo; Paolo Ruiz, Carabobo scholar; Bapssy Meneses, educational program manager of AVAA, and Noris Moreno, winner of the U project challenge and AVAA Caracas scholar participated in the meeting.
Their testimonies and experiences were inspiring to all those who participated in the event. Also, three videos were produced: one to celebrate this new anniversary , another as special thanks to our AVC partners, and the last one with the special participation of Ernesto Blohm, director of AVAA on the importance of being unique.
Furthermore, before concluding, the necessary draw was made to communicate the results of the raffle organized by the anniversary event. The Awards given were:
• 1st Prize: Quota for the Entrepreneurship Program of the IESA (includes teaching materials in electronic and certified).
• 2nd Prize: Quota for the International Diploma in Compliance and Good Corporate Governance of the CSR Professional Network.
• 3rd Prize: Quota for 1 workshop of the University Block (to choose).
• 4th Prize: Quota for the Diploma in International Coaching of the CSR Professional Network.
• Surprise Prize.
After that, each participant gave their thanks and congratulations to the Association for having marked the lives of hundreds of young university students and helping them in their academic, professional, and individual formation. Without any doubt, their participation has left its mark not only on their allies and workers but also on all the scholars.
