Guidance to Success is an Educational Fair aimed at high school students, and its main goal is to guide their vocational decision prior to entering a university. It is one of AVAA’s institutional volunteer projects, founded in 2013, in which many of our Excellence Program scholarship holders participate year after year.
Last June 26th and 27th we carried out the first virtual edition of the fair via YouTube, with high rates of success. On this occasion, the scholarship holders were able to offer the attendees all the academic offerings, especially on scholarships, in 10 universities in the country: UCAB, UCV, USB, USM, UNITEC, UC, ENAHP, UNEARTE, UAM and UNIMET.
With an average of 1543 visits and 400 people connected, the first virtual edition of the project was a great challenge for the team of scholarship holders who organized it. Undoubtedly, it has been a successful activity.
The AVAA Carabobo scholarship holders also participated in the fair and presented to the users the study options in the universities of that region of the country. Representatives of EducationUSA AVAA, IFISA and CVA participated as well and indicated to the assistants which are the steps to follow to apply to some of the scholarship programs offered by the North American universities.
